Dubuque KeyLine Transit

Welcome to Dubuque Iowa home to KeyLine Transit!

I've visited Dubuque many times and have enjoyed all of my experiences. I last visited Dubuque on August 2nd 2008, it was a warm summer day, a great day to take a road trip. I have to say that the transit operators for KeyLine are very friendly knowledgeable and take pride in their work and take pride in representing Dubuque. Dubuque's fixed route fleet is made of of 12 heavy buses and 2 rubber tire trolleys.

A "Vintage" Surprise.
I was surprised to find 2 1976 Fishbowl buses still in active service, what a sight both buses look like they were brand new, both buses were rehabbed in 1996 and had wheelchair lifts installed. In 2005 both buses were sent to Chicago to have power steering added to them and painted into the current Dubuque Livery. KeyLine also has 4 35'GMC RTS buses 2-1979 and 2-1981 rehabbed by CoachCrafters in 1998 and sold to Dubuque. It's not everyday you see these buses in service anly a few remain in active service.

The remaining buses in the KeyLine fleet are 6-2001 Nova RTS 30ft buses. These buses are in a full silver livery with KeyLine and City of Dubuque decals on both sides of the buses.
